Amazon Promotional Code
A working Amazon Promotional Code can help you save up to 50% on your purchase. Here’s a great example – 50% OFF Amazon Promotional Code (see the details by clicking the “Special Offers Available” link). Following, I will list the top three discounts for this week. These are up to fifty percent off, with no spending threshold or a very small one.
- 50% off Divine 9 Lubricant (4 Oz) (code FBLIKEIT)
- 50% off qualifying Old Glory items (no code required)
- 50% off Toffee Caramel Popcorn (code SAMS5123)
The problem with their codes is that they aren’t offered as a complete list to browse through. Instead, they are scattered throughout their website. You will find plenty of other sites that list some codes, but typically far not all. Even worse – many websites list expired deals. The only sure-fire way to find working codes is via manual search.
How To Find Amazon Promo Codes
So, how do find a good Amazon promotional code? Just enter a certain line of text into Google search and check out the results. It’s best to use Google, because it supports quotes and semicolons, which we need to use if we want accurate results.
Here’s what I type into google.com when I want to find a general high percentage discount Amazon promo code (in this case, it’s fifty percent off):
- “save 50 * on each” “code * at checkout” “special offers available” site:amazon.com
- “save 50 * each on” “code * at checkout” “special offers available” site:amazon.com
The first part is to search for deals that offer 50% discount on each qualifying product that you buy from a given merchant. You can insert any other number instead of 50, such as 45, 40, etc. The second part is just a general line of text that all offers use on the product pages; the asterisk is where the actual code will appear in the search results.
If you want to search for a specific product, I would advise the following search text snippets:
- inurl:boots “code * at checkout” “special offers available” site:amazon.com
- inurl:“running shoes” “code * at checkout” “special offers available” site:amazon.com
As you see, these are more lenient – I removed the “on each” (“each on”) part. I used the word boots like this – “inurl:boots” – to eliminate erroneous results that would show otherwise, because Amazon’s expandable menu mentions most all of their products. You can replace “boots” with anything else: ipad, kindle, electronics, nike, diapers, baby, dvd, etc. Unfortunately, there are no book promo codes offered, but you can browse through their “4 for 3 books”, “book bargains”, etc.
To get the most out of your code shopping, be sure to understand how an Amazon promotional code works. Rule #1: deals are offered by different merchants and apply only to their qualifying products, not the entire selection. Rule #2: Typically, there’s a spending threshold that you need to meet in order to obtain the discount, so be sure to read the terms of the offer carefully. Rule #3: To obtain the discount, you need to submit the code in a special window and click “Apply” (at checkout, on the page where it asks you to select a payment option). Finally, you may really want to read the “Here’s how” page of the offer, to see all the details that apply to it.

Let me start with saying that my children (3 yo and 5 yo) are very messy eaters (naturally). You can always tell what they had by looking at their clothes. I use Resolve on all stains. It nevr fails and works fast, especially on fresh stains. I buy it at Walmart. Yesterday I was “window shopping” at Amazon and found a 20% off Amazon promotional code for it! RBSCLEAN – enter it at checkout and saev 20%. There’s a bunch of other cleaners and air fresheners that are 20% off with the same Amazon promo code. Hurry! The offer ends April 30, 2012!
Does anyone know how to get a current list of amazon promo codes? I know they change quite often but I was wondering if there is some entire list somewhere to be had. thanks.
Have you visited Amazon lately? Say, within the past week or so? If yes, then you have probably seen their new addition – a tiny “coupons” banner. As I’m writing this, it has 9 Amazon coupons available. What are these? I’m not sure if I like the coupons offered but I’m sure as hell that this little banner is very annoying. I have a netbook and this ad opens on half of my screen and I can’t see anything and can’t even close it! If you click on one of the offers it says “applying coupon… redirecting” and takes you back to Amazon.com
The only problem I see with these codes is that they never seem to have them for the product that I am searching for. And they just don’t have one generic code for everything, such as 10% off any item. I wish they did!
They offer them only for the stuff that nobody buys, at least not for the price. I’m looking for an iPad cover and the worst ones have an Amazon promotional code advertised on their pages.
Their promo codes su**! Anytime I try to use one turns out that it doesn’t work anymore
Has anyone had any luck with their promo codes lately? Are they even worth it? I don’t see myself spending hours to find a code for something I really need to buy now only to find out that it’s not working!
I just bought a Kindle 3 reader. I’ve been thinking whether to buy it or not for a while and then I bought it. I have an iPad but this one is claimed to be much easier on your eyes. I couldn’t find any Amazon promotional code for the Kindle but I found one for a cover. They are so expensive! I saved 15% on mine. I could have made one myself but it would probably look ugly LOL
Nope.
I don’t buy this. This is meant to make us spend more. Free cheese is in a mousetrap. If it’s too good to be true, etc. With almost every code you are forced to meet a certain spending threshold or a certain amount. Instead of saving you will spend more.
Their codes save money, but there’s LOTS of junk. Still I hunt for them all the time. Pity that you have to test manually. I also have one site bookmarked that lists 90% deals and links to discounts by category (30%-90%). With sales no coupons are needed. Just add the product to your shopping cart and the discount is automatically applied.
The problem I have with an amazon promotional code is finding one for a specific product that I am looking to buy. I know that there isn’t any one code for everything, but it does require some research to see if one exists for what I am looking to buy. I am an Amazon fan so I usually take the time to look for them.
I love to win me a free Amazon gift card. Good winning sites are hard to find and time isn’t always worth it but when you do win smth it feels great. I usually search for smth like: Enter to Win a Free Amazon Gift Card. Facebook has many of them. In case you didn’t know, there are 4 delivery methods: email, print, ship, and Facebook. Cards that you win usually come by email or Facebook and rare – an envelope by mail.
I would advice not to go for the “survey Amazon promotional codes”. I’ve seen many sites that prompt you to fill out some kind of a form or survey and that you have a chance to win a free code or even a free gift card. These are all scams. There’s no such thing. What they are trying to do is get your email address and then sell it to an email farm. If you don’t want your inbox spammed the hell out stay away from these.
Lenny9 you are spot on! I just had an experience with an “amazon promotional code” site that claims that if you fill out a quick survey (from Survey4Profit.com) you will be rewarded with an Amazon voucher of up to $250. First off, they want your name and email, which I thought was fishy. I decided to give them an email address that I never use. Before going ahead and clicking the “check availability” button I decided to read their terms. Guess what, there was nothing about amazon there. Just as I thought, they’ll add your email to their mailing list and start sending you paid surveys that you may qualify for. Their terms say that the “potential winnings” are not guaranteed, i.e. nobody knows if “the sponsor” will actually fulfill the “suggested compensation”. It’s a sham.
Does anybody have any clues for codes for the new Barnes and Noble NOOK? From B&N or Amazon? I would rather buy it from Amazon because of their customer support but right now it’s more important for me to save some mullah. Thanks.

Hi!
I found a bunch of nice Amazon grocery promotional code deals. They all are valid thru September 15, 2011. Google: Amazon.com Special Offers Grocery.
I was interested in coffee, and they had lots of brands: Senseo coffee pods (my favorite!), Community coffee, Mount Hagen organic coffee, etc etc. On the same page, they also had deals for snacks, candy, cookies, cereal, baby food, and more.
Hope this helps
Amazon claim codes sound good but I have questions about shipping like can I ship to different addresses? Also about their gift cards I don’t get it – is the delivery method the only difference? Can i send them to multiple recepients? Also, what is the amazon rewards visa card? You think I could find out on their site or call their customer service?
I’m a student and Amazon offers some nice perks for us. As a student, I got six mo. of free prime. Now it’s $39/year. I’m subscribed to their alerts and occasionally get a nice amazon promotional code in my email. Plus, they are tax free in my state. I just had to provide some basic info about my university and use my .edu email to join them – glad I have one… I buy all my books from them. They are awesome all over
Are there any codes for TVs? I’ve been eying this Samsung PN42C450 TV on amazon for several weeks. The price is great. Actually it’s an amazing deal. But is there any way to save a bit more?
I don’t think you’ll find promo codes for TVs. Amazon sells them very cheap, with no tax so… I did see codes for cameras and camcorders but even these are rare. Usually they have codes for cheap stuff like accessories and such. If you are looking to buy a TV for less, Amazon price tracking can help. Just google “Amazon price tracker”.
If you buy a lot from them instead of looking for an amazon promotional code for free shipping just sign up for their Prime. It’s free for the first month. Everything sold by Amazon ships free. No minimum order. It’s activated when you buy something from them. I paid the $79 and have been using it for several months now and it’s a great deal (I buy a lot from them). Oh, and it’s a steal for Christmas shopping.
I love Amazon. The only site I trust with my cc. I shop there for everything, sometimes I even order produce from their fresh. I’m subscribed to their prime. They are so great and I never had any issues. I remember somebody presented me an amazon gift card and I forgot about it. When I was reminded of it I thought it would have been long expired. Guess what, it wasn’t! I actually think they never expire! I’m also a sucker for their codes too

I don’t like how amazon codes work.
There’s no list. They don’t work more than they do. They try to make you spend more – buy 3, 4, 5. What if I only need one? The process is confusing. I don’t bother looking for their codes anymore. I just search their site for the best price or look elsewhere online.
Thank you for the tips. I’d like to add that you can also find great deals without the codes. First off, their gold box – lots of deals every day. Also, check out their “warehouse” and “outlet” – for the most part, these are used items but many of them are like-new. Finally, you can subscribe to their emails and they will send you their deals and even some Amazon promotional codes.
Two days ago I found what I thought was a working amazon promotional code for Eight O’Clock coffee that I have been enjoying for years. I don’t remember the website where I got it… When I tried to make it work, it said that the code I entered has expired. This is the first time I tried using a promotional deal of this kind and it was a disappointing experience. The website I got it from said it’s valid…
Hello!
I have a few questions that I don’t see covered here. Maybe if you have time, you could clarify them for me and others. Thanks!
Do Amazon coupons really work? Can the same code be used at their other sites, such as Germany or the UK? Is there a way to get a list of all the codes that are valid right now? What’s the easiest way to find their codes and items that ship for free? How long before the code expires? What is the A9 discount? What’s different between coupon codes, promo codes, and claim codes?
Thanks a lot!
Hi Mike! Here are the answers. 1. Yes, they work, as long as they are valid. 2. The same code won’t work at their other sites – it’s only for one site, such as the .com one. 3. Unfortunately, there’s no way to get a list of all the Amazon promotional code offers that are valid right now… You can find them at various specialized sites, as well as via a search engine using the search snippets similar to what I provided above. 4. I’m not sure how to find the items that ship free, but I will try to write an article about it soon. 5. Different codes have different expiration dates – in many cases, the date isn’t stated anywhere, so you need to test the code manually. 6. The A9 search discount doesn’t work anymore – they did away with it… 7. These are all the same. Hope this helps!
Hi Gina! Yes, I do use Askville once in a while, but most of the offers that I find there are outdated. My preferred method is to search through Google. It’s not perfect but it’s def more up to date – it works best if you set the time range to “Past hour”. I do use a few other sites as well, including retailmenot and some others.
Have you ever tried Askville? They have hundreds of codes there. Simply register, login, and post a question. Usually, someone will reply with a code soon after. I also use a few other sites, but I hate it that these codes expire so fast. Someone posts one and when I try to use it a few weeks later it doesn’t work anymore. I think that Amazon should have some kind of a list with all that’s available.
