How to Find Amazon Discount Deals

Recently, one commenter asked me: “Amazon often offers nice deals, but how can I find them all? Do I need to find an Amazon promotional code to lower the purchase price when buying something from their site? Someone said to look on Twitter… Any other tips?” That’s when I decided to write an article that tells about the places I use to find Amazon deals and discounts.

Gold Box

Let’s start with the Gold Box. Some people see this tiny gold colored box on top of Amazon . com pages but they never visit it. It’s a mistake. In fact, I would even suggest that you make a habit of clicking this link on a daily basis. Who knows when a new great offer shows up? I suggest going there in the morning, because these offers are time-sensitive.

4for3

The Four for Three campaigns enable you to pay for three items and get the fourth one free. You want to know the details of how this works because it’s a bit confusing. I will give an example: say, you decide on 3 products for $20 each the 4th one for $10; the discount is going to be only $10. However, if you purchase 4 items for $20, the discount is going to be $20. Therefore, it’s best to find items with identical prices.

Not every item on Amazon marketplace is subject to this promo. Take a look at this page to find out:

Outlet

The Amazon Outlet is loaded with cheap items (new and reconditioned), and some of them may suit your needs:

Bargains

This is another place to find a wide array of discounts:

Warehouse

These products aren’t new – they are like-new. Many have small flaws. You need to be careful here and study the details. Exactly why is this product so cheap? Is everything included? Can there be any problems with this product in the future? See these deals here:

Email Subscriptions

Imagine if Amazon emailed their deals to your email? If you would like this, sign up here:

My last word of advice is – keep hunting for great deals on their site. Who knows when a great offer pops up? Also, anytime you want to purchase something, check for any special offers on the item’s product page.
